TIME stories

This past week we played TIME stories. At first this game was confusing, but got more fun over time. I like how we each had a character that we were playing. I like when we play games that are roleplay/board game. I also liked how the game was sort of a mystery. I liked how it was like a video game in a board game. Your decisions led to other things and there were multiple different directions you could go in. The hardest part of this game was starting it off. I feel like that is generally the hardest part about a lot of the games we play. It gets easier as you play but the start up is rough.

Our play session was good. It is definitely hard to manage your time. We ended up losing in our first session. I thought the game was interesting and a mystery. Not everyone in my group was into it a lot of them time, but it was fun to work as a team. I think my team played a little outside of the rules As I said before, I like the fact that we got to play through characters and how the setting and rules of the game made it seem like a video game almost. I disliked how hard it was to manage your time. When I look back on it I can not even think of how to win. It seems that we would always be beaten by time. Overall, our session was good.

I could see leadership in our play session specifically. One person in our group stepped up tp the plate and narrated the game. I think the first sign of leadership you can see in games is when someone steps up to lead the group through the rules. I see this in the game and all games. I also saw leadership in all of us. I see how we step up and come together to make the best decisions. I think my friends sister would enjoy this game. he likes long and complex games like this. I think she would have fun and be able to bring her character to life in the game.
