About the 2021 Department of Art Faculty and Alumni Exhibition

The Miami University Art Museum (MUAM) and the Department of Art proudly present the Quadrennial Department of Art Faculty & Alumni Exhibition. This recurring exhibition celebrates the diverse works of art created by emeritus and current faculty, as well as Miami alumni.

In this exhibition, the artists were at liberty to express their vision through any medium of their choosing. The artists work with various forms of art including, printmaking, sculpture, ceramics, photography, painting, book arts, collage, and fashion. The intermingling of faculty and alumni artists as well as the variety of art presented, both in form and style, allows visitors to have an inspiring experience. Enjoy familiar artists, discover new creators, as you explore the depth of work by current and emeritus faculty, and alumni who’s connections with Miami University span more than 50 years.

The jurors for the selection of alumni works featured in the exhibition are Robert Robbins, Chair, Department of Art, Miami University (Oxford); Jason E. Shaiman, MUAM; Sherri Krazl, MUAM; and Laura Stewart, MUAM.
