Throughout history, our world has been plagued by the infiltration of racism, injustices, and discrimination towards various subsets of cultures. Bolivia is home to 36 indigenous cultures who have suffered a history of these discriminations. Our research was aimed at investigating the ways that HipHop music produced by indigenous artists has shaped growth and prospectively for people who identify with these cultures. We specifically cultivated research on Inmortal Kultura, a group of two men of Quechan and Hispanic descent who utilize samples of Andean songs as the main complement for their compositions. We analyzed the impact of their lyrics to highlight the ways music can cause foster change in society through unity, understanding, and growth, as well as preserve the cultural traditions of past generations.
