Looking for events, student orgs, or campus resources? Think of this as your Miami Student Essential Resources Guide; the quick list of social media accounts and websites every RedHawk should know about.

1. Miami University Student Life

We obviously have to include our own stellar socials. The Division of Student Life Instagram is your go-to spot for campus events, from live coverage at Mega Fair to previews of what’s coming up, like the Oxford Farmers Market. You’ll also discover student organizations, get involved through interactive story polls, and stay connected to everything happening at Miami in real time.

2. Mental Health and Well-Being Website

The Mental Health and Well-Being website offers a wide range of resources. From counseling and mental health support to physical wellness and recreation. Its purpose is to help you take care of yourself and create the very best experience for you here at Miami.

 3. Rinella Learning Center

Need a boost with classes? The Rinella Learning Center website shares tutoring info, study tips, workshops, and success strategies to help you stay on top of your learning. I use the Rinella website to see campus resources for learning support and reminders that help me stay motivated!

4. Miami Activities and Programming

MAP is the go-to resource for student-run events, programming alerts, and fun things to do around campus. MAP never ceases to amaze me with its fun events like DIY Toasted Roll, stand-up comedy shows, volleyball showdowns, and so much more! I hope to see some new faces at some of the events this semester!

5. Miami Dining

Feeling hungry? The Miami Dining Instagram has you covered with all things food on campus. I go to the Miami Dining Instagram page to find tips and tricks for dining on campus and the new, fun menu items they offer!

6. The Hub

Thinking of joining a club? The Hub has you covered, offering over 600 student organizations! Not only does the Hub have tons of fun clubs to join, but it’s also where you can find events to attend and track your involvement in any clubs or organizations you join! I use the Hub weekly to check on the student organizations I’m involved in and make sure everything is organized!

7. The Rec

Looking to stay active? The Rec sports Instagram is here to help! You’ll find fitness class schedules, intramural and club sports updates, special events, and wellness tips. I love going to the Rec to play some basketball with my friends or just to get a workout in when I have time. Either way, it’s always a fun time at the Rec!

With so many accounts and websites to explore, finding the right info at Miami doesn’t have to feel overwhelming. From event coverage on the Student Life Instagram to wellness support, dining updates, rec sports, and academic resources, there’s a page or platform for just about everything. Follow the accounts that match your interests, bookmark the key sites, and you’ll always be in the know here at Miami!
