April 7, 2017 | No Comments

Miami University Fashion and Design (MUF&D) is one of the largest student run organization on campus, at about 223 members strong. There are many committees within the club that allow members to express themselves and contribute to the overall success of the program. Though MUF&D puts on many fabulous, fashionable events throughout the year, there is no question that their most highly anticipated event is the spring fashion show. MUF&D hosts the largest student-run fashion show in the nation!

This year marks the 11th year for the annual fashion show. The show will take place at Millet Hall on Saturday, April 8th at 7:30pm (doors open at 5:30) and you will not want to miss it!  The show features designs created by students, worn by student models in a very professional show comparable to a real life New York Fashion Week runway show. In addition to the show, MUF&D will also be hosting a trunk show at 5:30pm in Millet for guests to enjoy local boutiques and major retail brands.

This year, MUF&D is presenting their re-brand as they move away from their typically cold, fierce style to a more unique, bright, and diverse style that represents how fashion is a way of expression. Through the re-brand, MUF&D unveiled a new logo and the backdrop for the show will feature custom-made fluorescent lights in the font of their new logo.
