Interprofessional Education, IPE, is a method of improving the way that healthcare professionals can offer treatment to their patients by teaching them how to work together in a more collaborative and effective way. Specifically, this review is looking at interprofessional education that includes psychology professionals working with other fields of healthcare. This project consists of a literature review of sources that discuss various methods of interprofessional education. In order to do this, a systematic literature search was done using keywords that relate to the topic of interprofessional education. Currently, this project is at the abstract screening stage, and then will progress to journal reviews. So far, 39.31% of abstracts have been screened, 132 of which were included and 2086 of which were excluded from proceeding in the literature review. The primary goal of this review is to research best practices of interprofessional education in order for patients to receive the best care from their healthcare team.
