The main goal of the Program Finder is to give prospective students a high-level overview of each program offered by Miami, present some career opportunities, and differentiate Miami degrees from similar programs at other schools.
These pages should highlight the value students will get from a Miami education and entice them to attend Miami. These pages can also help current students when deciding if they want to change their educational plans.
Last fiscal year, the Program Finder had over 2 million pageviews. This year we are working on adding Request Info forms on every program page to improve our ability to measure engagement and increase inquiries. We are also performing a Search Engine Optimization (SEO) deep dive, including keyword research and competitive analysis, for 7-10 priority programs determined by the deans in each college, with plans to do this for all programs over time in order to increase search rankings and reach a bigger audience.
UCM updates and maintains the Program Finder pages, but we are not the subject matter experts. We need communicators and departments to assist us in keeping the content up-to-date, accurate for each program, and relevant to students. Departments are being sent an annual call for content, but content changes can be requested at any time of the year.
