What is DUO?
Duo Security is the system-wide, two-factor authentication security application at Miami University. It’s administered by IT Services. Authenticating your account credentials is required for Canvas LMS access. Learn more at MiamiOH.edu/Duo.
Is it available in Canvas?
No, but as stated above, it’s required to access Canvas. You can schedule a bypass for all students or individuals in the event of timed exams, etc. It will only affect Canvas, not all other Miami applications
Is there a cost?
No. All current Miami students, faculty, and staff use Duo to log in to Miami applications.
