For Minors:
- If you are a CW minor, consider upgrading to a major. It might be easier than you realize. Contact the Director of Creative Writing or English Department Chief Departmental Advisor about possibilities.
Curriculum:
Potential scheduling difficulties?
- Sometimes students with another primary major worry about being able to get the CW requirements finished by end of senior year, especially the period literature classes. We can often allow appropriate substitutions, so if scheduling is your concern you can contact the Director of Creative Writing or the English Department Chief Departmental Advisor to see what might be done.
- Similarly, if you are a CW major and thinking about downgrading to a minor from scheduling concerns, please reach out to your major advisor, the director of creative writing, or the chief departmental advisor first. Sometimes substitutions can be made, or classes can count towards more than one requirement.
