How did you reach your current position?

After I graduated, I joined Parker Hannifin through its Technical Sales Development Program. I spent a year training for my current role of account manager. The program allowed me to build my network and learn about Parker’s technologies, products, and applications. It also taught me about business basics, including selling and negotiating.

How did Miami University set you up for success in your career?

Miami helped me with my career by providing resources through the Career Center. Career fairs, mock interview sessions, and resume reviews each played a role in my success.

What is your best piece of career advice for current college students?

Attend as many Miami career-related events as possible. This includes the Career Fair, company-specific information sessions, and events posted through Handshake. Doing so will help you build connections and learn about companies you might not have previously considered.
