Advice to students (and myself) on describing statistical methods, reporting results, and citing R packages

Most of us can do a better job at these tasks. We need to avoid software-specific jargon, report results only in biologically meaningful ways, cite correctly the work others. Here is a collection of advice I’ve given to myself and others.
