As lead instructor for the Crawford M.O.V.E. Bootcamps for four years, Bridget Stafford expanded participation in the program, impacting thousands of students through her leadership. Her presence is transformative, and her commitment and enthusiasm inspire those around her. Serving as lead—and ultimately sole—instructor since her sophomore year, Bridget helped turn the Crawford Bootcamp into a staple of the Miami University experience and even a “bucket list” event for many students.
One nominator shared, “Bridget’s impact will last far beyond her time at Miami—she will leave a lasting legacy, positively influencing the health, wellness, and sense of community for thousands of students.”
As a servant leader, Bridget brings the same reliability and dedication to every role she holds. She has served the Miami University Rec Center as a fitness instructor and student manager, strengthening community engagement by revitalizing the center’s social media presence. She also works as a math tutor, partnering with students and parents to build confidence and support academic growth.
Bridget will receive a degree in Integrated Mathematics Education with a minor in Spanish.
