This photo shows Miami Tribe of Oklahoma citizen Carolyn Niles as she examines a single women’s legging with ribbonwork decoration. Carolyn was working as a part of a team from our community that collaborated with the staff of the National Museum of the American Indian on a Digital Museum Workshop at the Cultural Resources Center in Suitland, Maryland. The images and knowledge accumulated by the team was brought back and shared with the broader Myaamia community.
