| VISION | Our client’s vision was to create a user friendly point-of-sale system that is both easy to navigate and efficient to use. Through the connectivity of the POS system with the barcode scanner and receipt printer we aim to have seamless transactions that will allow for efficient use of our system. |

| MISSION | Create a point of sale system for a convenience store that will allow for the clerk to have their own display in which they will be able to carry out tasks for the transactions such as: add an item, delete an item, edit an item’s price and checkout a customer. The customer’s screen will display details of the transaction as the clerk carries out the transaction (this screen will only display the transaction). The POS system will use a barcode scanner to scan items and a printer to print out receipts. |
