What makes a candidate stand out to you during the recruiting and interview process?

Dress sharp and be confident in yourself and in your abilities. Bring a refined portfolio that best represents your skills and interests. Display enthusiasm for the work, and demonstrate you did your research by asking detailed questions about our firm, projects, and processes.

What advice would you give students to set themselves up for success as they pursue internships and their post-graduation goals?

Hard work never goes unnoticed. Set yourself apart from your peers by taking on new and challenging opportunities. Be the most accountable person in the room, and don’t be afraid to take ownership.

What have you observed that sets Miami University candidates apart from others?

Miami students are well-rounded individuals with a knack for creative solutions.
