If a video recorded using Personal Capture doesn’t upload to My Media properly, don’t worry—you can still find it on your computer! It can take some digging, but the instructions below should help you locate your files.
For Mac users
First you’ll need to find the Library folder.
- Open Finder window.
- Click Go in the menu bar, then select Go to Folder (Cmd+Shift+G).
- Type ~/Library and click Go.
In your Library, navigate to Preferences > Kaltura > Capture > Recordings to find your saved video files (as shown in the image below).
For PC users
On a PC, navigate to your C drive and then Users > (your ID) > App Data > Local > Kaltura > Capture > Recordings. As shown in the image below, you can change the location that your videos are saved when you download and install the Kaltura Personal Capture application. If you’ve already done this, you can simply uninstall the application and reinstall it to change the location of your stored files.
