Today, Myaamia people use ribbonwork to decorate many different types of items, including clothing. This hat band, created by Karen Baldwin for her husband Daryl Baldwin, uses one of the patterns in peepankišaapiikahkia eehwaatamenki, the Myaamia Ribbonwork book. This is the third and final project presented in the book because the smaller diamonds and thin lines make it more difficult to create than the first two patterns.
