Our Knowledge Base content currency rating for December 2016 is 100 percent—thanks to the service owners and knowledge domain experts who took the time to review the original 189 articles imported into the KB in May/June 2015. As a result:
- 151 revised articles have been renewed for another six months of service
- 33 outdated articles have been archived
- And 5 terribly-wrong articles have been deleted
In January, I’ll issue a short currency review report to cover content—just 11 articles—created in 2016 prior to the KCS Pilot.
Our Knowledge Base is growing stronger every day.
- With the addition of KCS-generated content, we now offer a total of 274 articles for public use
- We’ve published 52 articles for internal use
- We have 32 proactive articles awaiting review and publication
- And we have more than 600 KCS-generated drafts that our support staff can search for quick answers to our users’ questions
So to all who participated in this inaugural review, thanks for doing your part to strengthen our identity as a reliable and knowledgeable leader in the University community.
Knowledge is not produced once.
It is a dynamic creation that is formed and reformed
