“Continuing the Dream in 2017.” A communitywide celebration of the life of the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. with guest speaker Tammy Kernodle, professor of musicology and affiliate faculty of American studies, black world studies and women, gender and sexuality studies. Kernodle served as a scholarly consultant to “Musical Crossroads,” the inaugural music exhibit for the National Museum of African American History and Culture.
