The IT Services intramural broomball team, bITs & Beitz, completed an undefeated regular season last Sunday with a 1-1 tie. They finished the fall season 5-0-2 (see complete results at MiamiOH.edu/UIT/itboxscores).
Next up is a first round playoff game this Sunday, Nov. 20 at 8:30 pm at the Goggin Ice Center. The team would love to have lots of friendly faces in the crowd showing their support.
The team finished the regular season as the #1 defensive team in the league giving up just 0.71 goals per game. That is a testament to the great team defense played by the entire group, and the fine goal-tending displayed by Mike Beck and Jonathan Flenaugh. The entire team roster is shown below.
