A 3 part series about the CIRCUIT (Continual Improvement Committee for IT) presented to you by Dana P. Miller, Chair of CIRCUIT

When CIRCUIT started in May of 2016 a mechanism was created for IT Staff to submit their suggestions for internal process improvement.

CIRUCIT Diagram Updated

Since May 2016 IT Services staff have submitted 126 Suggestion tickets with the following outcomes:

7 Completed FAST Team Projects

These two projects are working towards using the password management tool Last Pass which will contribute to ease of use for Enterprise Operations staff and lower software costs.


New Password Manager
Password Manager Pilot Team
 
These three projects have are building the path towards software development standards in Solution Delivery.

PHP Standard Development
PHP 7 Roadmap Planning
Single Page Application

This project has created a standard work process to represent IT Services at Career Fairs which can be a source of potential interns and staff members.

IT Services Career Fair Process

This project moves forward with using Slack to provide chat capability.
