Handshake is an online platform that connects students with potential employers and career-related events. It allows you to customize your profile to find the right fit for thousands of jobs and internships.
Once you’ve made your profile, you’ll set it up similar to how a LinkedIn account works. Handshake will have you upload your resume, indicate what fields you’re interested in and upload a profile picture.
From there you’ll be able to follow certain employers you’re interested in, see which employers are attending Career Fair and connect with other students. Handshake also gives you the option to make your profile visible to recruiters so they can reach out to you.
