Parking Permits

Employee parking permits for 2017-18 will go on sale online Thursday, June 1 at 7 a.m. Log in to your online parking services account in BannerWeb to purchase your permit. Fees for permits purchased online will automatically be payroll deducted for eligible employees in equal installments over the year.  When you register online, you will be able to print a receipt that is valid for 10 days and will serve as your temporary parking permit until your new decal or hangtag arrives in campus mail. If you are not eligible for payroll deduction or wish to pay for your permit in full at the time of purchase, you may come to the parking office in 128 Campus Avenue Building beginning June 1. Employee carpool and vanpool permits must be purchased in person at the parking office. All employee parking permits are valid from July 1, 2017 to June 30, 2018.

Student parking permits for the 2017-18 school year will go on sale Friday, Aug. 18 at 7 a.m. Log in to your online parking services account in BannerWeb to purchase your permit. Fees for permits purchased online will automatically be applied to your bursar account. When you register, you will be able to print a receipt that is valid for 10 days and will serve as your temporary parking permit until you pick up your decal at the parking office in 128 Campus Avenue Building.

If the parking permit you wish to purchase is not shown as an option in your online parking services account, you may submit an appeal for an exceptional transportation need by following the link on the Permit Registration page or contacting the parking office to request the link to the appeal form.

Parking Garages

Beginning July 1, 2017, students and employees who prepay for parking garage access will use their Miami University ID card for entry and exit at the facilities instead of the separate prox card issued by parking services. Please return old prox cards by dropping them in the box at the exit from the garages.

The North Garage will undergo maintenance from Jul. 1-Aug. 15 requiring a complete closure of the facility to prevent damage to vehicles and for the safety of crews working inside. As a result, the cost of North Garage access has been prorated to exclude the cost of July and August. If maintenance work is completed ahead of schedule, the garage will be opened and access cards will be active.

The cost of South Garage access has been reduced by 50% for employees in 2017-18 to accommodate individuals who may have been displaced by the Admission Guest parking areas on Maple St.

Lost ticket fees will increase in both garages to $25. If you lose your entry ticket or experience other issues entering or exiting the parking facilities, press the intercom button on the entry column to be connected to an operator who can assist.
