You and Your People

Peyton Matik is a junior studying Psychology and Art Therapy with a minor in Theater. She uses her personal identity to create art that speaks to her experiences and relationship to the world around her.

“You and Your People” explores a portion of Matik’s identity, focusing on her Jewish heritage, generational trauma, and experience as a Jew in America. “But more than that,” says Matik, “it shows the longing for things to change.”
