I completed my BSc in Computer Science in 2001 from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale. I completed my MS in Physics (2004) and PhD in Applied Physics (2007) from the same University. After completing my PhD, I joined The Ames Laboratory of US DOE in Ames, IA as a post-doctoral research associate and stayed there until 2011. I was a Killam Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Alberta from 2011 to 2012. I returned to The Ames Laboratory in 2012 and stayed there until joining Miami University in 2013. I am passionate about my research and I enjoy working with students.
