July 4 is a holiday all about freedom and liberty. Without downplaying the importance of the amazing work of our founding fathers (and mothers) – this July 4 we are preparing to celebrate another freedom. Freedom from Symantec Service Desk.
This may be a small step for Miami, but it is large step for IT Services. Those who use SSD know all too well how BIG an impact this small win will enable.
Hopefully you saw Bob’s email yesterday. You have been recruited into this campaign for freedom from SSD. On Wednesday morning we launch the engagement EVERYONE should help test the load and responsiveness of the new TeamDynamix tool.
Battle Plan:
Wednesday, July 2
9:55 am: Instructions from HQ should arrive via email. Follow them to log into TeamDynamix.
10 – 10.15: Create lots of test incidents/service requests. All our person-power available should be engaged and actively using the tool during this time to measure its performance during the heat of battle.
10:30 – 11:20: After-action session (demo) will be held in 102 Boyd via WebEx at http://goo.gl/QYVJLI
Please note: WebEx limits calls via traditional phone to 20. Use your computer speaker/microphone if possible.
13:00 – 14:30 pm (1 -2:30 for the non-military): Be prepared for the brave new world of TeamDynamix! Sign up for one of the following Focus Groups to be added to the calendar invite with location details.
Session 1: Logging Service Requests: re-run of last weeks sessions focusing on the request fulfillment process and how the tool supports that process.
Session 2: Mobile Devices: Bring your mobile device (mobile phone, tablet, etc) and interact with the tool to perform routine process activities.
