Please join us on Wednesday, January 16th in the Armstrong Student Center for the 2019 Miami University Lean Fair. This year’s fair is “Ahead of the Curve”. Now in its 5th year, the Lean Fair will feature 12 breakout sessions and over 20 booths for your participation and celebration of the many accomplishments from this past year. President Crawford, Provost Callahan, and Dr. Creamer will deliver opening addresses.
The fair will offer both a morning session and an afternoon repeat session to provide everyone the opportunity to attend as many breakout sessions as possible. The morning session will begin at 8:30 am in the Wilkes Theater and the final morning breakout ends at 11:40 am. The afternoon program will kick off at 1 pm and will end at 4:20 pm.
Breakout session topics will include: Campus Calendaring, Student Hiring, Using Lean Techniques to Improve Nursing Home Care 2.0, HR Transformation, MyDoors, EMSS Goes Agile, eShip Global- It’s how we ship, IT Efficiencies, Drones, Rumpke, University Advancement and the ever popular Games of Lean.
Bring your ID to swipe in (or enter manually) and receive a voucher ticket for a free meal (up to $8.25 value) good for January 16th. Attend a breakout session to validate this ticket and enjoy a free meal on Lean! Fair attendees will also have the opportunity to win an annual campus parking pass when you complete a Lean Fair Feedback Survey. The surveys will be distributed via email after the Lean Fair concludes.
