Next Thursday, April 5, is the next installment in the 2018 Kate Wellington Disability Awareness Lecture Series.
The event will feature a screening of the film “Deej: Inclusion shouldn’t be a lottery,” which will be followed by a Q&A with DJ “Deej” Savarese, the subject of the film.
“Deej” is about a nonspeaking young man and the challenges he has faced – and overcome – in his quest for autistic civil rights and inclusion. More information can be found at the movie’s website.
