| Vision | The Gig Contractor Management (GCM) project is envisioned to be an easy-to-use website for various companies to track and pay a diverse group of contractors. Akin to a traditional webpage, GCM is intended to have login functionality for both the contractors and companies, whose information will be stored in an organized SQL database for fast and reliable reference, creation, and updating. Additionally, security is a big priority, with the website planning to be run on an HTTPS domain, along with possessing full HASH key encryption. |
| Mission | The mission of GCM is to create a .NET 9.0, server-hosted website using the Razor markup syntax to display a visually appealing, easy-to-use website that allows users (companies and contractors) to connect with one another to form business partnerships. Each user will posses their own unique login credentials which will be stored using an SQL database along with any other prevalent information related to said user and their business/contracting capabilities (owned companies, current hired contractors, clock in-out data, etc.). Additionally, a secure HTTPS domain will be used to host the website for improved security along with full HASH encryption for all stored user data in the SQL database. |
