| VISION | ClassifAI is an online video/audio analysis platform to assist educators in understanding how their interactions with students impact real learning. It provides quantifiable metrics related to teacher-student interaction, such as talking time, difficulty of questions asked by a professor, and lecture summaries. These tools can be used by lecturers to review their lectures and improve the classroom experience for their students. |
| MISSION | The mission of this project is to have a fully functional program that allows the user to input an audio or video file of a lecture into our tool with the purpose of turning speech into text, labeling speakers, classifying questions and summarizing the lecture using AI. We aim to build upon the legacy code provided by the students at the Texas Christian University, setting up the codebase from scratch at Miami University, resolving bugs that remain in their code, and adding new functionality when possible. |
