| PROBLEM STATEMENT | The machines in the MME lab can be dangerous if the user does not have adequate training. A verification system to prevent unauthorized users from using certain machines would increase safety in the labs. This will ensure that students will only have access to machines that they have adequate training to use. |
| PROJECT PURPOSE | To create a system that will only allow individuals with access to the machine to use it. When the project is completed, a streamlined and semi-automated approval process will be created, removing the requirement for individuals to be permitted access to certain labs. This will both improve the safety of the labs themselves, as only authorized individuals will be allowed to use certain machines, and remove a small amount of administrative work in giving manual authorization to each lab. |
