Laundry Service App – CSE Senior Design Expo

CLIENT	Chris Baier, SudsCity owner Advisors:Jacob Lindegren, Samson Horn
VISION	The client needs an application to facilitate customer requests and to track the inventory through the workflow; that is, the application will follow bags of laundry from pickup to delivery. Upon discussion with the client, the application will reflect something similar to DoorDash for laundry. This process would involve having a worker pick up the laundry from a customer’s door, drop it off at the laundromat to be washed, and then drop it back off at the residence. During this process we envision tracking for each step in the process to keep the app updated for the user to track throughout the process.
MISSION	Our mission is to provide the client with functioning, useful, readable code for an application that: implements a system of barcodes on laundry bags and washers that track customer laundry provides account roles and permissions for multiple levels of users including (1) laundry customers; (2) laundry service providers; and (3) pickup and delivery drivers appropriately connects all user levels to the same well-built, expandable backend has the realistic ability to extend to additional Software-as-a-service implementation to expand the application’s reach across the United States as a mobile app on app stores
