CLIENT | Lynn Stahr |
VISION | Mrs. Stahr found GitLab’s summary statistics feature was too limited for her use when evaluating her students’ senior design projects. She aims to develop an application where she can view various detailed statistics regarding one or more projects from her class. This app would present statistics on projects’ time spend spent working on solving issues, number of issues created every sprint, life cycles of different issues, and much more. |
MISSION | Our project’s mission is to create an application, which collects data about a given collection of GitLab projects from GitLab’s API and presents summary statistics about the collected data on a web application. To do this, we need to develop a database, REST API, and website. We will be able to collect data about Issues, Sprints, Time & Materials, Merge Requests, Repository Commits, and Issues’ DLCs from GitLab’s API, store it in our database, and present the data as useful statistics on our website. |
