Please keep in mind that the City of Oxford can do a much more thorough job of plowing if the roads are free of cars. Therefore, students who do not have Miami parking permits may move their cars to any of the three student lots (Millett, Ditmer, Chestnut Fields) this week, but they must return their cars to their apartments before next Monday (Feb 2nd).
Cars parked on designated snow routes are required to be moved off the street if there is a prediction of 3 inches or more of snow or they may be cited and/or towed. Cars parked on non-snow routes would benefit from being moved off the street before snowfalls so that the city can plow the street more thoroughly improving road conditions for everyone.
