Millett Lot Parking Restrictions for Friday (2/20/26) Basketball

With the Miami Men’s Basketball continuing their 25 GAME WINNING STREAK this year, the West Millett parking lot must be clear of all vehicles by 3:00 pm this Friday, Feb 20 for Friday night’s basketball game against Bowling Green.

The Residential Section of Millett lot needs to be empty by 3 pm Friday or risk citation at 3 pm. 

Students with Commuter Permits may continue to park in the commuter section until 6 pm on Friday.

So where can I park? Beginning at 10 am on Friday any vehicle may park:

  • Outside of dorms or academic buildings in red-permit lots throughout campus.
  • In available spaces in the Ditmer and Chestnut lots.
  • Off-campus on Oxford streets that do not have meters or require permits
  • If due to your schedule, you will be unable to move your vehicle on Friday between 10 am and 3 pm, you should move your vehicle the afternoon before (Thursday) to the Ditmer lot.

Don’t forget!

  • The Heritage Commons lots are still reserved for Heritage Commons residents only.
  • Student vehicles may return to West Millett Lot at any time on Saturday or Sunday.
  • Student vehicles parked in red permit areas for the weekend must be moved out of red permit areas by 7 am Monday.
