Sabin Timalsena is an algorithmic artist who describes his work as computational poetry – writing in the language of machines to create art for humans. He makes art with mathematics and code, exploring natural systems and the emergence of complexity from simple rules and vice versa. He strives to push the boundaries of what’s possible in algorithmic art, and is constantly in the process of establishing/enhancing a vocabulary of algorithms that allow him to express himself through original computer programs. Sometimes he uses algorithms as a brush, and sometimes he gives the brush to the algorithms.
“Meshing of Dreams” is based on the observation that oftentimes there is continuity between dreams, where some events, objects and memories from one dream are also present in the next. One dream can seed another, and one person’s dream can instigate another’s dream. Made with code (C++/openFrameworks)
