You may remember that in the April edition of the IT Services newsletter TechTalk, we profiled Support Desk Analyst II Jenny Witt. As part of the article, we highlighted Jenny’s work with the schools on the small Caribbean island of Anguilla.
Unfortunately, Anguilla was one of the islands hit hard by hurricane Irma, and the storm destroyed seven schools, including the only secondary school (shown here). Jenny is working hard to gather monetary donations to send to a woman in New York who is using container shipping (flat rate per container) to pack and ship supplies to send to Anguilla.
This is where you can help. Please consider donating to this worthy cause. Jenny will be accepting donations through October 31, although she would like to get the first batch of supplies out quickly. She is accepting cash or checks made out to Jennifer Witt. She will be able to give all donors photographs of the goods purchased that are being distributed to the schools.
