The email below was sent to all rising second year students regarding the residency requirement and the upcoming room selection process they will be participating in.
This is the time of year when some students begin asking questions about housing for next school year. As you begin to plan ahead, we want to let you know that the 2023-2024 Room Selection for current first year students will take place later this semester. This will be your chance to select a room for next year. We’ll be sending more detailed information about room selection to you by email in the coming weeks. You can always check out our Room Selection website for the most up to date information.
If you would like to see more information about any particular facility, we suggest going to two sources. You can find a video tour of the common areas of every residence hall on the Office of Residence Life Instagram account. And you can find photos of almost every individual room on campus on the Miami Parent & Family Programs Pinterest page.
As a reminder, Miami has a two-year on-campus residency requirement, and all first and second year students are required to live on campus through the spring semester of their second academic year of enrollment.
