Upcoming E-Faculty Engagement Workshop:

Facilitating Through Feedback

communiation idea bubble

Instructor ‘feedback’ on assignments is so much more than grading commentary, or final thoughts to students about their work.  Instead, instructors and students alike should think of ‘feedback’ as the ‘beginning of a conversation.’  When used to facilitate, feedback may help students: understand what to do with their time; know how they should feel about their performance; assess whether or not their motivation/work effort is appropriate; examine whether or not they are meeting expectations; etc.  Because feedback is important to promote continued learning, especially in the online classroom, the Feedback for Facilitation Workshop will examine several key considerations, including different ways to provide feedback, different ways to offer it, how it could be focused, and what the feedback should ‘say’.   PLEASE NOTE:  Registration is required.
