| VISION | When a company’s workforce unionizes, the union creates a Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) to negotiate with the company administration. This CBA may be used to determine scheduling, pay, terms of employment, and more. The vision of this project is to build a system that allows for these restrictions to be graphically represented as “rules” which can then be sent to an “engine” to automate the process of scheduling workers | |
| MISSION | The mission of this project is to simplify the workload of people doing schedule management by allowing them to manipulate the rules of scheduling easily with little to no technical knowledge. The data resulting from this project can be used to automate the scheduling processes, decreasing the possibility for error in scheduling, and ensuring corporate adherence to the CBA. | |
