VISION | The vision of this project is to develop the foundations of a user-friendly C++ web framework. Many technologies exist which enable web page generation from C++ source code, yet learning and using these technologies make the process so tedious that most choose to use a more user-friendly framework. Our monolithic web framework will remedy this issue by orchestrating the necessary components, providing the user with an easy way to generate web pages using C++ source code. |
MISSION | Climate change and energy consumption are serious challenges facing humanity, hence performant and energy-efficient solutions need to be deployed in every aspect of IT eco systems to aid in addressing these issues. Nevertheless, these performant solutions need to be streamlined and easy to use—i.e., we need effective “zero-cost abstractions”. Flero++ will combine the extreme efficiency of C++ code with enough ease-of-use that it is a competitive option when compared with other popular web frameworks. |
