We house five galleries of changing exhibitions and a growing<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-51 alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/sites.miamioh.edu\/visualarts\/files\/2016\/11\/alliance_accredited_black-300x246.png\" alt=\"alliance_accredited_black\" width=\"65\" height=\"54\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sites.miamioh.edu\/visualarts\/files\/2016\/11\/alliance_accredited_black-300x246.png 300w, https:\/\/sites.miamioh.edu\/visualarts\/files\/2016\/11\/alliance_accredited_black-366x300.png 366w, https:\/\/sites.miamioh.edu\/visualarts\/files\/2016\/11\/alliance_accredited_black.png 500w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 65px) 100vw, 65px\" \/> permanent collection of more than 17,500 artworks. the museum is accredited by the American Alliance of Museums (AAM) and is a proud member of the North American Reciprocal Museum Association (NARM).<\/p>\n<h1><span style=\"color: #c10c2c\">Where is the Art Museum on Campus?<\/span><\/h1>\n<p>For starters, you can\u2019t miss the large, industrial red sculpture on the front lawn. The art museum is also just an 8-minute walk from the Armstrong Student Center, diagonally across from Tappan Hall, at the intersection of S. Patterson Ave. and Chestnut St., right when you enter Oxford off of State Route 27.<\/p>\n<h1><span style=\"color: #c10c2c\">What can the Art Museum do for Students?<\/span><\/h1>\n<p>Lots of things! The Art Museum is a great place to see diverse exhibitions and study outstanding works of art. You also can work, intern, volunteer, join the art museum student organization (AMSO) and attend lectures and social events.<\/p>\n<h1><span style=\"color: #c10c2c\">What can the Art Museum do for the Public?<\/span><\/h1>\n<p>The Art Museum and Sculpture Park is FREE &amp; OPEN to ALL and is an excellent venue for exploring arts and culture from around the world. Membership in support of programs and exhibitions is available at varying levels. Each offers a higher level of engagement with the museum via special-invitation-only events and special programs.
