{"id":546,"date":"2017-09-27T19:33:38","date_gmt":"2017-09-27T23:33:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/sites.miamioh.edu\/tomoyasulab\/?p=546"},"modified":"2017-09-27T21:15:59","modified_gmt":"2017-09-28T01:15:59","slug":"summer-recap-4-visitors","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sites.miamioh.edu\/tomoyasulab\/2017\/09\/summer-recap-4-visitors\/","title":{"rendered":"Summer recap 4: visitors"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We had to amazing visitors in our lab this summer.\u00a0Ana Fern\u00e1ndez, a PhD student from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.biologiaevolutiva.org\/xbelles\/\" target=\"_blank\">Xavier Belles lab<\/a> in\u00a0Barcelona Spain, spent three months with us and worked on elucidating metamorphosis mechanism in the German cockroach, <em>Blattella germanica<\/em>. <a href=\"https:\/\/sites.google.com\/site\/kulip2016\/members\/takahiro-ohde\" target=\"_blank\">Taka Ohde<\/a>, an assistant professor at Kyoto University, also visited us. We worked together on establishing a mayfly culture method and analyzing mayfly morphology. Thank you both so much for visiting us.
