To cross-list sections in Canvas, you’ll take the ID of the primary course and cross-list all other sections to it.
The best way to add a video you’re hosting in Kaltura to your Canvas course is to add it to a page that you’ve created in a module.
You can add VoiceThread to a Canvas course within a module or as an assignment. You’ll find it in the “External Tools” options in both places. (Note that VoiceThread doesn’t appear among your course navigation menu options.)
This is a situation is one that causes a lot of confusion, especially when students who received an “incomplete” need to access a course to finish their work. Basically, you’ll need to override the default end date that’s set for the term in the backend of Canvas (which most people can’t even see).
Unfortunately, there’s no way to integrate Zoom with Canvas Grades. However, you can download an attendance report for each class meeting that shows when students joined and left the meeting and the overall duration of their attendance.

This question that comes up a lot because the assignment submission options are kind of oddly named in Canvas. In your assignment’s settings, scroll down to the Submission Type box, and select Online on the dropdown menu’s options, then select the Website URL checkbox.
Three different features/tools are built in to Miami’s Canvas instance that you can use to check files, images, and other content you’ve added to your course to make sure they meet accessibility requirements.
Not much is required for making a Canvas survey’s responses anonymous—just select the “Keep Submissions Anonymous” checkbox in its settings. Once you’ve collected responses, you would simply return to the survey and click the Survey Statistics link.
