Campus is full of things you\u2019ve probably walked past a hundred times and thought, \u201cI should try that someday.\u201d Between classes, homework, and your usual routines, those ideas tend to stay on the mental list but never actually happen. Consider this your sign to finally check a few off that list!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Go to the pool\/ hot tub <\/h1>\n\n\n\n

The rec pool and hot tub<\/a> might be the most relaxing place on campus. Whether you want a quick study break or a relaxing hang with friends, it\u2019s basically a mini reset without leaving campus. Think of it as a little getaway! <\/p>\n\n\n

Ride the bus <\/h1>\n\n\n\n

If you\u2019ve ever walked past the rock wall in the Rec Center and wondered what it\u2019s like, this is your chance to try it! It\u2019s a fun way to challenge yourself and switch up your usual workout routine. Check out the Climbing Center policies on the Rec website<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n

Ice skating <\/h1>\n\n\n\n

You don\u2019t have to be a great skater to enjoy the rink at Goggin. Grab some friends, take a few laps, and enjoy one of the coolest activities campus has to offer. Check out the public skating times<\/a> before you go. <\/p>\n\n\n

Watch (or try!) Broomball <\/h1>\n\n\n\n

If you\u2019ve never seen broomball before, you\u2019re missing out. It\u2019s fast, a little chaotic, and surprisingly competitive. Even if you don\u2019t know the rules, it\u2019s still fun to watch!<\/p>\n\n\n

Explore the trails <\/h1>\n\n\n\n

Sometimes the best break from a busy day is just getting outside. The trails around campus are perfect when you want a walk, a run, or have a quick reset. Check out a map of the trails at the Natural Areas website<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n

Makerspace at King <\/h1>\n\n\n\n

The Makerspace at King is one of those places you\u2019ve probably heard about but never actually visited. It\u2019s the perfect spot to get creative and try something new with hands-on projects and cool tools like 3D printers, embroidery machines, and more. Check the Makerspace website<\/a> for the full slate of what\u2019s available and how to make a reservation.<\/p>\n\n\n

See a play <\/h1>\n\n\n\n

Campus theatre productions are often overlooked, but they\u2019re always impressive. It\u2019s a fun way to spend an evening and support the creative work happening right here on campus. The upcoming shows are always listed on Theatre\u2019s production season page<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n
