It’s already the end of April and we’ve just now finally left winter behind us for good *knock on wood*. With the days getting longer and sunnier, and no snow now for over a week (!), we are finally gearing up for summer. We’ve just got to get through the next three weeks.  With the change in seasons comes a change in music. Here’s a playlist to help get you going on your walk to class!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Swim – Valley<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Valley’s most streamed song, Swim<\/a>, starts off slow and builds to chorus you just want to get up and dance to! They also just re-released a new version of the song.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fresh off their newest album, “In Undertow<\/a>” begins with a nostalgic 80s synth vibe and is just generally an upbeat jam.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Don’t Wait – Mapei<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

While a few years old, Mapei’s “Don’t Wait<\/a>” remains fresh and exciting with its tribal sounding beat and dissonant harmonies. Check out the remix<\/a> to hear a verse by Chance the Rapper!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Water – Ra Ra Riot<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This rhythmic song by Ra Ra Riot, Water<\/a>, will have you wanting to “jump into the water” on your way to class.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“One of Us<\/a>” is a fun song to remind you to enjoy the last few weeks of Miami for the year (or for good) and to celebrate your friends!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Feel It Still – Portugal. The Man<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The award winning “Feel It Still<\/a>” may have come out back in 2017 but it’s the kind of song that just doesn’t get old. There’s a reason it has a Grammy!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’m Stuck – Noah Cyrus<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Stepping out from the shadows of her older sister Miley, Noah Cyrus’ “I’m Stuck<\/a>” gives off pop-country vibes that were made for sunny days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sunflower – The Weepies<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Weepies are known for their gentle, acoustic sound and “Sunflower<\/a>” is the perfect sweet and springy song.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Whole Wide World – Cage The Elephant<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Cage The Elephant’s cover of Wreckless Eric’s 1978 hit “Whole Wide World<\/a>” has a steady beat and and a rich acoustic sound that goes so well with spring sun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Shotgun – George Ezra<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

“Budapest” was the song of the summer a few years ago and George Ezra is back with a fresh new album. “Shotgun<\/a>” is perfect for the days you’re “riding shotgun underneath the hot sun.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
