Work-Space Management- Cleaning the Workspace

Introduction

A clean and organized workspace is not just aesthetically pleasing, it’s also essential for maintaining a productive and efficient work environment. When your workspace is cluttered and disorganized, it can cause stress and distract you from your work. On the other hand, a clean workspace can help you stay focused and motivated, leading to improved productivity and better work outcomes. With this in mind, it is useful to set a SMART goal to keep your workspace clean and organized to maximize my productivity and minimize distractions.

Example

S: Devote 30 minutes of my time a week to clean (dusting, wiping down, vacuuming)  your workspace.

M: The goal will achieved by setting a timer for 30 minutes every Saturday at 2:00 pm and cleaning until the timer is up.

A:  Cleaning your desk 30 minutes a week is definitely achievable.

R: A cleaner workspace can increase productivity.

T: Do this every week on Saturday at 2pm for 2 months.
