Jens Mueller, Ph.D.

Biography
Jens has more than 15 years of experience in multi-language software development for numerical engineering analysis. Application areas of these tools are as diverse as simulation of micro-electro mechanical systems and cardiovascular flow. Specifically, he has worked on finite element mesh adaptation procedures and their parallelization for the use on high performance computing platforms.  Jens joined the Research Computing group at Miami in 2008 from SCOREC at RPI. Jon Patton, Ph.D.

 

Biography

A mathematician by training, Jon has been working with Miami University since 1989 and has extensive experience with simulation and statistical forecasting. Jon also holds a visiting professor position with the decision sciences and computer science departments and has taught several courses in these department over the years. Greg Reese, Ph.D.

Biography
Greg has been working with the group since 2005 and has over 20 years of experience in scientific programming and algorithm development in industry and at various research laboratories. He has extensive experience in digital image processing, human vision,and pattern recognition and has worked on software for several NASA projects, written three general-purpose image processing suites, and created a commercial molecular-biology program for the PC. He is the author of C++ Standard Library Tips and a co-author of an industry-wide, medical, electronic-data standard.
