The sensationalism of true stories garnered much attention. This broadside presenting a case of cannibalism of a child must have certainly provoked interest as well as disgust. This story is about four murders committed by Antonio Sánchez in the town of San José Iturbide, located in the State of Guanajuato. According to the narrative, after committing the horrible crime Sánchez ate the remains of his own child. Just as Posada included demonic figures in other images pertaining to murder, dragon-like demons fly around incite Sánchez to enact such a horrific act. Posada heightens the drama of the story by depicting the most shocking moment.
