You can access the self-service portal at <a href=\"http:\/\/miamioh.edu\/parking\/portal\/\">miamioh.edu\/parking\/portal<\/a>. (Click image to enlarge.)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Next, enter the details about the vehicle. If the vehicle has a paper or temporary license plate, click the link next to the License Plate field that says &#8220;Paper or Temp Plate?&#8221; and you will be prompted to enter the 17-digit vehicle identification number (VIN) instead of a license plate number. (Click image to enlarge.)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Click the &#8220;Create&#8221; button to add the new vehicle to your account. New vehicles are automatically added to your existing parking permits.<\/p>\n<p>NOTE: Parking services began testing license plate recognition for parking enforcement in January 2019. It is important that the license plate or VIN information is accurate or the vehicle will not be recognized as having a valid parking permit.<\/p>\n<h1>Updating your license plate<\/h1>\n<p>To update your license plate, you must first remove the vehicle with the old license plate from your account by clicking the &#8220;Remove&#8221; button next to the vehicle record.<\/p>\n<p>Then click the &#8220;Add New Vehicle&#8221; button or quick link to add the details of the vehicle with the new license plate number.<\/p>\n<p>Click the &#8220;Create&#8221; button to add the vehicle with the new license plate to your account.<\/p>\n<h1>Questions or assistance<\/h1>\n<p>For questions or assistance with adding, removing, or changing the vehicles associated with your account contact parking customer services in the Campus Services Center.<\/p>\n<pre><span style=\"color: #333333\"><strong>Campus Services Center<\/strong><\/span>\r\n<span style=\"color: #333333\">301 E.
